Agreement to these terms

By browsing authenticfoodtrucks.com, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you agree to the terms on this page. They apply to every food truck, trailer, and piece of kitchen equipment sold by Authentic Food Trucks, whether purchased directly online, by phone, or through WhatsApp.

If anything here is unclear, reach out before ordering — we'd rather explain it up front than leave you guessing later.

Orders & quotes

Every order starts with a quote based on the truck, trailer, or equipment specification you choose. Quoted prices are valid for the period stated at the time of quoting and may change after that window if material or freight costs shift.

• An order is confirmed once a deposit or full payment is received and acknowledged in writing.
• Build slots are limited and assigned in the order payments are confirmed, not in the order quotes are requested.
• Specifications, layouts, and equipment lists discussed verbally are only binding once included in your written order confirmation.

Customization requests

Most trucks and trailers are built to order, with layout, equipment, and finish customized to your concept. Once a customization request is approved and the build has started, changes may affect price, build time, or both.

Payment terms

We accept payment through the methods listed at checkout or shared directly by our team. Custom builds typically require a deposit to begin fabrication, with the balance due before dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• All prices are listed in US dollars unless stated otherwise.
• Sales tax, duties, and import fees (where applicable) are the buyer's responsibility unless explicitly included in your quote.
• Full payment must clear before any unit leaves our facility.

Shipping & delivery

We ship nationwide to all 50 states. Typical build and delivery timelines run approximately 4–14 days from confirmed order, depending on customization level, equipment availability, and your delivery location.

• Delivery estimates are our best projection, not a guaranteed date — weather, carrier delays, and customs (for cross-border orders) can affect timing.
• Someone authorized to accept delivery must be present at the agreed delivery address.
• Freight and delivery charges, if not included in your quote, will be confirmed before dispatch.

Inspection on arrival

Inspect your truck, trailer, or equipment as soon as it arrives, ideally before signing off with the carrier. Note any visible transport damage on the delivery paperwork and photograph it before use.

Warranty & product standards

Units are built to meet recognized international food-safety and equipment standards. Where a manufacturer warranty applies to specific equipment (fryers, refrigeration units, generators, etc.), the terms of that manufacturer's warranty apply alongside ours.

• Our warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, not damage from misuse, modification, or normal wear.
• Warranty claims should be submitted with order details, photos, and a description of the issue.
• Routine maintenance items (gaskets, bulbs, filters, consumables) are not covered once the unit is in use.

Cancellations & refunds

Because most units are built or configured specifically for your order, cancellation terms differ from off-the-shelf retail purchases.

• Orders cancelled before fabrication begins may be eligible for a deposit refund, minus any costs already incurred.
• Once fabrication has started, deposits are generally non-refundable, since materials and labor are already committed to your specific build.
• Standard, non-customized equipment may be eligible for return under separate terms confirmed at time of purchase.

Liability

Authentic Food Trucks is not liable for indirect losses such as lost business income, missed events, or third-party claims arising from the use of a purchased unit. Buyers are responsible for ensuring their truck, trailer, or equipment is operated, permitted, and maintained in line with local health, safety, and business regulations in their area.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our products, services, or applicable regulations evolve. The version published on this page at the time of your order is the version that applies to that order. We recommend checking back periodically, especially before placing a new order.
